Nitrous refill question????
Im thinking about going with a zex wet kit for my d16 hatchback. What are some prices it costs to refill a bottle (10 lbs). Just want to get an idea of the cost.

Re: (mildly interesting)
So you were paying 40-50 to fill a 10lb tank? Wow, thats kind of ridiculous. Maybe its medical grade? Because I know medical grade n2o is quite a bit more expensive.

nope, it Ny-Trous, an n2o with sulfur for auto use only...if you'll tell me where you're getting it for 1.50 a lb, I'll buy evey last ounce they have and sell it here for the profit margin of a lifetime...

I believe Ramchargers up here in Michigan refills 10lb for 20-25 dollars. Don't hold me to that, I haven't filled a tank through them in a few years but thats what it used to be.
Obviously prices have gone up a lot in the last 3-4 years. Just called Ramchargers and it is now $45.05 to fill a 10lb tank. Wow! Makes me reconsider using n2o as a supercharger pre-cooler.
No bullshit, 3-4 years ago, I used to fill the tank in my Jetta for $25 and change. Man, inflation sucks ***. Makes me wonder why nitrous is know as the "most bang for you buck" upgrade. Cheap to get into but cost over time would be high if you drive like I do.

Re: Nitrous refill question???? (speedehatch)
Pd= pound
Back when I was running the nawzzzzzz It was $27 to fill a 10 lb bottle.
You do the math, Nos is like leasing power, it sounds cheap up front, its fun while it last, but in the end you have nothing to show for it

Re: Nitrous refill question???? (e'sd16)
I currently pay 145 $ canadian for a 65 pound cyl of N2O.
Filling station size ( size 44 cylinder i think )--- I just order one to fill my own bottle.
other than that ,around here, it's 4.20$ canadian a pound, wich run you 42 canadian buck's for a bottle.
