Default nitrous questions

i plan on running nitrous on my b18b soon, i want to figure trying maybe 55 or even a 75 shot. bone stock block, will this be safe with a direct port system or should i go with a dry setup like a zex or nx kit??????? the only thing i will have to help timing is going to be cam gears at this time but i just want to make sure i will not detonate my motor. i kno how to use the kit i have a freind that used it reg on his gsr b4 but he seems to think its not a good idea and that my motor wont hold to it. its a 95 b18b with 80k on it bone stock. what are other things i should get to run nitrous with????i kno fuel pump but what else
any help is great thanks

In my experience just retard static timing a few degrees, not sure if chaging cam gear timing will be enough, fuel pump would be good along w/ colder plugs, your preference as to what system to go with, on a stock block. I don't know if I'd do a direct port because it's still going to be a smaller shot, direct port will give you more equal distribution in the cylinders but on a small shot I think either a wet or dry shot right in front of the tbi might be simpler in the long run.
