Default Nitrous question...

Is anyone running the Zex kit at 75 on stock internals and fuel? Did you retard ignition at all to the recommended setting of 4 degrees? Does it seem like your motor is gonna blow? I'm getting the kit and want to know if I can push it to 75.

A friend I had ran a ZEX kit on his LS Teg with a 75 shot and stock internals. Only one way to find out if it'll work for you though.

i also have a 75 shot ZEX kit my GS-R engine. STock internals but i madea 3 degree retard. But i have a question i am fine with my car now i want to do a head job what brand and stages should i get for a head job to work in conjuntion with my 75 shot nitrous. (head job as in cam shafts,cam sprockets,valves,valve springs and retaineers).

hell ya it will. ull fell lik e a slug of bottle. get some sort of ignition control to retard only when n20 is activated

can you leave the bottle open all the time or is that not recommended? asking because of all of these new remote bottle opener things. i think they are a gimmick but need confirmation.

Don't leave the bottle open all the time, it will leak small amounts of nitrous out and I would say overnight your bottle would be empty, open only when you are going to race.
