Default Nitrous h22

I'm lazy so I haven't searched, I just got off of work. Anyway I bought a used jdm h22a and it's in my 92 Accord. Is it safe to run a 50 shot of nitrous on stock internals? What should I do before I install a kit? Thanks.

What should u do before you install a kit? - answer: research

Do NOT do a fogger system - do a direct port system. And get hondata or something so you can control the timing better.

50-65 shot will be fine. My friend has been spraying a 55 dry shot for like 2 years on his stock duceduce - no problems. Direct port is pointless for a 55 shot. His car made 233whp with a 55 shot and mild cams.

Get colder spark plugs, get a fuel pump (not necissary but its insurance) and make sure your tune is safe.

55 shot is not much so don't frett.

You obviously don't know ****.

How can u say a fuel pump and spark plugs are insurance - but suggest him to use a fogger system? A direct port system would be insurance.

How about this, both of u need to do research.

Experience > Research. Keep reading magazines, and jumping on h-t direct-port bandwagons. There is NO NEED for DP when you are only spraying a 55 shot. kthx

Damn man, relax. I spray a 75 wet shot, and I know a lot of others running the same setup. If done properly there is NO problem whatsoever. No need to get ignorant.

No a Direct port would not be insurance for a 50 shot ur fine with a fogger system a dry kit will still give u some fuel.A 55 shot DP sux its a little harder to tune with a DP on a 50 shot u just get fogger kit and plugs and retard ur timing 2 degrees and have fun. O and to explain my self on the DP sucking with a 50 shot. With a 50 shot u get to much fuel that will puddle up in the manifold.DP is good for 100+ I know this becuase I had a 50 shot DP on my old LS man that thing would just bogg. But would take a 100 shot like a champ.

Who ever said there was a problem????

Did I........i don't think so...........
I just offered my opinion - "Don't do a fogger system"

I said a direct port would be "insurance." Meaning that it would be much more safe to do a direct port than just a wet shot.

And absolutely no one here can argue with me about that. Thats just a simple fact.

Just because you made 2+ years doing a wet shot doesn't mean anything. We're just talkign about "insurance"

Forgive me for wanting to do things the safe way. I would rather not take a chance with my engine.
Rather do it right the first time.

So I guess your way is the "right" way. Every setup is different, and if your only spraying a 75 shot or lower, you can't go wrong with a fogger system. And btw, this is what most people run anyway.

I hope ur saying this from experience and not just from half the junk u read on here and Import tuner that stuff will roat ur brain.
And no one said anything was wrong with a DP but DP is not right for every setup.I don't know but 2+ years on the Bottle is pretty good if u ask me.And if u don't want to take a (CHANCE) with ur motor don't hook the bottle up.Or even race it if that.Just drive like little Ms.Daisy every where u go.

You should really do a direct port kit you never can go wrong with that.

Direct port for a 55 shot is completely pointless. I'd either run a bigger shot and go with a direct port, or just use a single fogger. As was said before, experience > research.
