I just picked up another nitrous kit REALLY cheap, but the kid who had it before wrecked his car and when he did the valve busted on the top. Does anyone know if you can just buy the top valve from zex or if you HAVE to buy a whole new bottle for $200? TIA

 

if the pressure disc is ruptured you could try to find a replacement but most places will not sell it seperate of the bottle.

 

i wouldnt skimp on it man, look for a used bottle or something

 

you can have the valve replaced, but I would be concerned of damage to the bottle. have it hydro tested beffore using it.

its not just the valve the you turn to open the bottle, that broke and the rest of the top piece cracked, but the bottle is in good shape, i need that whole top piece that screws into the bottle.

 

The bottle is a seperate piece from the valve assembly, either post pictures or take it to a place specializing in high preassure tanks. You can find them under fire protection/fire suppression/fire extinguishers in the yellow pages.

I would replace a heavily damaged bottle, better safe than sorry.
