Default ngk bkr8eix too cold?

Been having some starting/ idling issues and wanted to rule out the spark plugs heat range... my parts list is on my profile, the motor is forged, about 9.5:1 compression ratio, precision 6262 pushing 15-20psi, (havnt done final tune and not sure yet) about 300 miles on the motor, running premium pump gas because theres no e85 near me... could this potentially be my issue? Conchs out when coming off of revving when warm and hard to start acter it dies... just trying to troubleshoot and this is where im at... thanks in advance for any info...

I dont think they are too cold I run them too over 400hp on pump. sounds like ur issue is elsewhere though maybe iacv or coil...

sounds like it could be in the tune. switching from 6,7,8 heat range plugs really didnt change anything with starting and idling on my car.

How is the car "tuned"? Is it running on a basemap or was it running good before and now its not?

the car is tuned with aem... It had a hard time starting the first few runs... but It improved when I changed to 1 level hotter of a spark plug... hence the reason for asking...Runs and starts fine now when the motor is cold but when the motor heats up it has a difficult time starting and stalls when coming to red lights after the RPM's have settled...

sounds a lot like your correction and startup idle compensation tables are out of wack. the main fuling and ignition tables is the tune at operating temps, you need to fine tune all the compensation tables for start up and idle conditions relative to engine coolant and intake air temps
