New toys....
Well, Christmas just passed and my birthday is coming up in 2 weeks, so I went and bought some nice little goodies to play with. Some will appreciate these and some won't care for them. I love these machines. Time to start fabbing again. I've been missing fabbing for so long now.

I bought a used MIG Wire Feed welder by Century. It's a medium duty machine that welds up to 1/4" thick. Certainly better than my old Hobart. I had a hobart but sold it to make car payments. Picked this up for $400 bucks form a guy in Apple Valley, MN. Amperage rating is at 145amps. All I need this for is tack welding stuff together cause I wasnt blessed with 3 arms

I went to buy my new cylinder for my MIG setup when I saw this machine sitting there. It's a New Miller synchrowave 180SD TIG machine. Yeap, BEST OF THE BEST BABY!!! :D this came with the running package. I was so anxious I picked this up right away for $1700 plus $200 for my comsumables and another cylinder. It's cheaper elsewhere, but I just had to have it. Now I have to call HTP and cancel my layaway for their TIG machine. LOL, it's still sitting in my truck...too damn heavy to lift by myself. Waiting for my bro to get home
This is my old(but new)oxycetylene gas welding and cutting outfit. It's for sale if anyone is interested. Comes with everything, even 40 cu ft.tanks(empty)for only $300.
(they are the size of nitrous bottles).

Nice toys, man.
Don't be a wuss. That Syncrowave is a lightweight. My crated Dialarc weighed almost 700 lbs. Getting it off the truck was interesting.

Hey Paul:
If you need any help getting a cord/power to that machine, let me know. I had to do the same thing for my Dialarc and maybe I can save you some hassle.

Re: New toys.... (Paul_Vang)
I just bought the same machine via Mail Order...Once it arrived...I had them load up on my truck and I used my engine hoist to move it around into my basement...It comes with a chain and a hook on top of the machine...I think I paid like 1500 shipped and it took only 3 days to arrive..Save me the hassle of going to pick it up. Power of the internet....
Wiring it up is pretty simple..3 wires
green = neutral
white = hot
black = hot
You will need to wire up your 220 v for a 50 amp...You will love that miller SD, you can even weld tin can with it.
