Default The new T3/T4

Just a little birthday Boost set up for the GF's 4 door Ls... Its a daily driver so Im keeping it pretty straight forward! This is a T3T4 T04E .50 A/R Compressor .63 A/R Turbine mounted to a Standard Cast manifold. I just put the two together for a quick picture but you all get the idea. With the rest of the items coming and the actual motor staying stock Im shooting for approx 220 whp @ 8.5 psi. I hope she enjoys it

ebay cdm unit.

i will run a similar unit on my accord wagon.

make sure you use the correct oil restrictor. hold the compressor on start up until oil pressure fills the turbo and comes out the drain.

Hahahahaha that was too funny lol. Seems like these Ebay turbo's are like gambling at a casino... I don't like gambling at casino's btw lol.

Btw, I had the exact same trim (Garrett) on my H22A and it spooled very nicely at about 3500 rpms... it would be nice for a street setup besides the fact its an Ebay turbo lol. Honestly man if I was you, I would rather buy a USED Garrett and get a proper tune on it. I can vouch that a dirty, rusty lookin used Garrett will outlast that Ebay turbo most likely...

I didnt buy anything off of EBAY,however if I had what makes the products sold on EBAY have such horrid outcomes? Seems as if its like the Horror stories people hear about Walmart.... You never hear any ones positive outcomes because, well they are happy! Now as soon as someone is upset or unsatisfied its blown up and its all you hear about. No need for further discussion on the topic of EBAY products and such. BTW if she is into this turbo set up and wants more we have talked about going with a "Full Race" kit and a full engine build,as of right now I can let myself drop that kind of coin because she wants a blow off valve.... lol

ive ran them in the past with no problems. like i said, get the oil restrictor, bleed the oil through the turbo before use, keep the psi low, and tune it, you will be ok.

Just curious, what do you plan on using for tuning this turbo engine?

Haha...You should have seen my tuner's reaction to the car following mine at the dyno (when i went last year). It had an Ebay turbo and some kind of rubber radiator hose piping to the DSM sidemount...All it was missing was a little PVC charge piping

make sure you dont get a wastegate and BOV knockoff like you did with the turbo. your chances of the set up failing will increase drastically.

Just for the record, there were two guys I knew personally right here in my town who went "Ebay boosted" - both cars are non-existant in less than a year now.... Sure I put my turbo setup together from USED parts but when it comes to names like Garrett, Greddy, HKS, etc..... nuff said.
