I was BS'ing with a local parts dealer while ordering my new clutch when he mentioned he could get a used OS Giken turbo gearset for me. I hope this deal doesn't fall through because I can get the entire tranny for $800 and it comes with an ATS FD and Mugen LSD. I wish the damn insurance company would hurry up and settle because I am getting tired of pimping my friend's Lancer. This gearset is used in most of the Top Fuel turbo EG/EK/DC cars.

The gearset by itself is almost $2400 brand new so I am praying this puppy makes it to me! Soon I'm gonna have buttloads of nice parts but no car !! 2 months without a boosted Hunda is starting to drive me crazy but cruising around in an AWD Mitsu that produces boost at 2200rpm has been kinda fun.

 

we got those mitsus now and they are very nice.. to drive.. test drove one the other day but settled for another diesel tdi vw cant beat the 650 + miles on tank of gas...

 

i hope that it goes through for you, that would be really cool. i wish i had a hookup like that, anyone wanna hook up some d-series parts?? maybe a bugen valve cover(they USED to make em).
