Mase's New Toy
Well guys,
Had numerous PM's and Emails askin where ive been and why ive fallen off the face of the earth.
well to answer all the questions, I've teamed up with Stage 6 Motorsports in jacksonville, been really busy with a lot of things, but alas we just took delivery of a brand new AWD Dyno Dynamics dyno.
The best AWD dyno available, and such a great tool to properly tune a car. We can dyno just about anything, especially the higher end stuff w/ tricky drivetrains
This is just a sneak peak, we still have a lot of work to do, but the dyno will be up and running soon, but the total facility has near 12,000 sq ft, plenty of room for lots of business plans. these pics only show half of the actual facility, the other half is on the other side of the building... the wall looks wack, but it'll be painted soon, but it has lots of potential
To add, while i'll be taking on many other projects besides just Honda cars, we will be doing extensive, accurate testing of products, our own product development, as well as engine management tuning.

lol a few reasons dynapack wasnt for me...
1. the dynopack cant handle the power i will be making. i'll be putting on a 1000 whp twin turbo car on the dyno tomorow, and id be very pissy maxing out a brand new dyno.
2. too much of a hassle getting the cars on and off the dyno
3. we've all seen some wack *** dynapack numbers
4. theres been too many drivetrain failures on dynapacks. i will be dyno'ing a lot of $100k + cars, and the customers probably wont be too happy replacing their rather expensive drivetrain.

we were just getting the dyno up and running and the G35 needed a baseline before we install the supercharger...
before and after numbers are always fun...

You can get upgraded hubs for the dynapacks not sure where they top out though and I would assume the crazy numbers would be more operator error.
But the rest definitely makes sense.

Re: (mrbsponge)
never heard of that dyno, but cool that you have one atleast.
this dyno will stay above ground, in ground dyno's.... u get all dirty rolling around the ground getting the straps underneath the car... and i dont like to get dirty

What makes this "the best awd dyno available"
Most engine calibration labs use MD awd dynos, I wonder why they didn't go with dyno dynamics if it's the best?
