I had been running a built gsr, and decided to change it up a little bit

new
b16a2
rs sleeved 84.5
cp/eagle
arp main studs
golden eagle head studs
oem bored head gasket
gsr oil pump
gsr stock head with supertech springs
redline topmount mani (t4)
billet 67/65 (t4)
tial 38mm gate
tial 50mm blow off
pecision 750 cooler
rc 1000 injectors untill i can get some id2k's
edelbrock intake mani (jg)
rpm 74mm throttle body
a1000 fuel pump with street voltage regulator
sumped stock tank
dss 3.9's
stock gsr tranny done by synchrotech with carbon synchro's/liberty cuff
excedy twin disk with excedy flywheel
hassport mounts cable to hydro
moroso oil pan with b16 pick up
aem-ems
t1 cam trigger
m&w pro 14 with cop


will be on corn and shooting for high 700 with it.
sitting on lenzo's and screwed

nah man im assured by the tuner we will not suffer much in the power department

its like the lost long forgotten b series lol

Bart has or had a bad *** 800 hp b16 and i wasnt sure on it till i read his stats with it

o yea
i hope u finished it soon so we can see the out come........
too bad we never got ours to the track
but it was the **** on the streets lol....

Looks great dude, its cool to see others still building the "long lost forgotton B series" too lol. Cant wait to see your power numbers, should be higher than mine (if I EVER get it on the road, ****.)

ill rev it as high as my tuner feels its doing its job lol
probly 9k like before

power will be nice im actually on the fence right now between e85/Q one will yeild more power of course but the other well is expensive

Youre going to want to rev it higher than 9 to have a decent powerband. Do it right and 11k is a lot of fun at the track

11k at the moment worries me since its pretty much a stock head at the moment


this is also the first time im putting a short block togather, and thats got me nervouse lol

My guess would be a powerband that doesnt really start til 6-6500 at the earliest, so if you can, rev it out a bit

yeah my tuner of choice os pretty good, and has done me good over the last 3 years in my honda pocket rocket adventures lol.

im on the fence with my ems though man my car has never had good short track times due to an issue we can not find in it no matter what we do

so s300 might be in the near future i like bbg better than vss more simplified haha
