Ok so ive had my license since i was 16 i am now 17 and my b16a just isnt cuttin it...

i want to build a boosted car im gonna convert my 89 EF hatch to OBD1 and swap in a d16z6.

i just want to know if this will be an easy or hard project i found a turbo kit on ebay for $819 with oil relocation kit turbo timer t3t4 turbo kit intercooler and piping and more i think almost everything i need.

Is it some what easy to hook everything up? and if so can i drive it untuned if i stay with in like 3,000 RPMs or lower

Don't buy a whole kit off of ebay. Their are some turbo components on ebay that a lot of people have ran with success. If ur gonna go with a ebay turbo manifold get a cast log one, the intercoolers are ok if ur not looking to make a ton of power. The turbos seem to be hit and miss I have heard of people having more luck when they run a oil restricter. Check out the "official ebay turbo thread".

Sounds like you have a lot of research to do. And whatever you end up doing get a good tune!

Good luck man.

its best to search ebay and craigslist and put ur kit together yourself using a cast manifold, even a used intercooler, but like everyone says tune is what will save your car from breaking up and make reliability so much better. Cromepro Chipped and dyno tuned is the cheapest route
