Default needeing the 411 on boost controllers

hi I got ripped off on a boost controller that I bought for 80 dollars never recieved it. but anyway I seen ones on ebay the ball and spring type. I was wondering the affectivness of these??? my tial wastegate has a 12 psi spring in there right now and I just need to turn down the boost on my untuned ran out of money project.

the boost controllers were like 15 dollars thats why i am asking

boost controllers are made to raise the boost. you can't lower boost past the wastegate spring rate.

see thats another thing I'm confused about because I've heard 2 different stories on that. do you know where I can get a smaller spring to lower boost???

i got mine at http://www.atpturbo.com but any tial dealer should be able to get u a lower spring rate.
