hey i am new to the turbo thing. i am trying to gain as much information as possible before i boost my LS. i dont want to spend like 3 grand. so my first question is does the type of intercooler matter?

 

what do you mean type of intercooler? you'd probably want to get one that is suitiable for your setup/hp range.

but if you're referring to bar and plate vs. fin and tubed. i'd recommended bar and plate

 

what i am refering to is i see alot of intercoolers online and stuff what i mean by type is size and brand.
