Right now I have a d16a1 (89 teg motor) in a 87 CRX with an IHI RHB5. I figure before I go crazy ion the car and tune it I might as well swap out the turbo for a bigger one, one that wont die out on topend. I was first looking at a 14b, but i dont like the design of the compressor housing. I think a garett t3 woudl be optimal for my setup. My goal is 200whp on 10 psi.
What trim or AR shoudl I purchase? Is a t3 super 60 overkill for that dohc motor?
I want decent spool at low rpms but Im not too concerned about it. As long as it pulls strong to 7200rpm.
Woudl a t3 .42/.48 be to small?
How about a t3/t4?
