Need some help guys. Back door intercooler options
I'm in a mad rush to catch st00pid while he is still here so he can tune my car Anyway, I'm test fitting my kit tonight(motor has like 40 miles on it now, hehe) and I'm having a time with the intercooler. The manifold is a lovefab, intercooler is a spearco core I think. I really don't want to trim the bumper support or my piping on the pass side will have to be redone(would be a pain grinding the support too).
The turbo sits above the back door. I bought a 2" hump and a 2.5 to 2" reducer coupler thinking I could use both with a piece of pipe with the housing angled almost towards the ground. but that is not going to work. What do you guys think? Hack the back door off the intercooler, weld a patch on and weld a 2" aluminum piece of pipe(instead of 2.5") back on the intercooler higher up on the end tank? Then just the hump coupler could be used. Unless I can find a super long coupler, or super long hump coupler. Here are 2 pics. thanks.

Hmm, I'm not aware of anyone that makes a transition with a 45*. If there is one, it will have to be longer than normal to work. Plus I think the coupler would be $30+.. Thanks.
