Anybody who has seen the new SRT-4 of Shaun Carlson knows that Equal length is not necessary what so ever. His manifold is no where near equal length, yet he is making around 1000hp and running low 8's...Same with the Ecotec Cavaliers, they too are making around 1000hp on Non equal length manifolds...
