Need help with Zdyne

Default Need help with Zdyne

I have a B16 tuned for 28 lbs of boost. When I the car is cold it runs like crap! It will not idle untill its warm. and its running really rich. can anyone help me with this? thanks Mike

give some details of setup... size of injector, what tune your using, etc

thats your problem its too rich when its hot and its gonna be even more rich when its cold.

We have run 880s with z dyne and no problems, We run a little higher base fuel pressure to help atomise the fuel a little better. The Z dyne will enichen fuel under 140 degs , we run them at 13.5 -1 on idle which smooths them out .

sorry about that. I have a b16a with msd 750cc injectors, turbonetics t3t4 stage 5 big shaft, set to 28lbs and a 60 shot of nitrous.
to be honest with you I've never tuned this thing myself. will send map if anyone can help

so your probably using the b16a zdyne 3bar map tune that comes with the ecu? if you are... that map is calibrated for 450cc and not the 750cc that you are using.

even if thats not the case, you need to properly tune the ecu for your setup.

mike, just go see danny (ovrbst) already. he'll put that 28lbs of boost into better use than your old tuner...
