I have a 90 CRX with a b18a swap using hasport billets. Im in the middle of turboing it right now, but i just ran into a problem. I have a revhard mani with a deltagate( )...well the top of the wastegate is hitting my hood causing it to not close. Ive grinded everything away except the actual hood skin and it still hits it. I took off the brass fitting on the top for the mbc and it still hits. What should i do...i dont have the money for a TiAL right now. I need help ASAP. Thanks.

don't get the tial,it is taller.the deltagate will work fine if installed correctly.you need to build a tube to come of the manifold to relocate the wastegate.call me at work tommorow if you have any more questions.DSR Motorsports 205-685-TRBO

 

Thanks man...yea i know what youre talking about. But where could i get another flange and small tubing to make it? Can you buy pre-made ones...well i guess not considering you would probably have to mount it in different locations for different cars. Well i cant weld and i dont trust any welders around here...theyve already messed up 3 things on my install and i WONT go back to anyone around here. Help me out here guys. Thanks.

Well i finally got it to where the hood will close fine...but not with the little brass fitting on the top...i think its for a mbc. People told me to leave the fitting open if i didnt have an mbc but can i just leave the fitting off? There is like a hole in the top if the wastegate now. Is that safe...what other options do i have? Thanks
