Need help on these trouble codes please
Hey people, I decided to check out if I had any new trouble codes besides my usual misfire deal and I came up with a 13 and a 54
13 being Barometric pressure.. IS there any fix to it? and what would be the cause>
and 54..Crankshaft fluctuation sensor-- I know how to trouble shoot this prob but I had my valves recently adjusted and was wondering if they weren't totally adjusted correctly could this trigger the code when the crankshaft was manually turned and last if this code would put my ECU in a limp mode?
thanks for the help people, much appreciated,
BTW: car is a 99 gsr with greddy turbo kit @8psi stock timing and ngk bkr7e-11 at .32 on gap

right now i would say that your ECU is bad mine did the same thing i have a 00 gsr and my ECU threw the same codes. i just got rid of it and that was the end of my problems
Threw it out in replacement of what?? Convert OBDII to OBDI? thanks, I just reset the ECU today and haven'tgotten any of the codes back...yet. That amber light is getting EXTREMELY annoying.
Anyhow thanks,
Nick

I found out what caused my Code 54...the wire for the "Crankshaft Speed Sensor" came off it's "wire holder" and was cut and frayed by my alternator belt. You might want to take a look there to see if yours has done the same!
