Default CEL Code 54 - Any ideas on how to fix?

Hi, I got a CEL Code# 54 today = "CKF Sensor (Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor"

How can I go about diagnosing this problem and fixing it?

Car drives fine...nothing out of the ordinary...strange.

Thanks,
KJ

Mine did that before the rebuild. When I took it out, I found it was caked with chit. May take a look at it and see what yours looks like. So far mine is ok.

How hard is it to remove that sensor?
