Anyone have any extra base maps for a turbo 98 integra GS running 440cc injectors??? I desperately need one. I was sent the wrong chip or a blank one.

I just installed my hondata 2b and 440cc injectors. My hondata box is blinking slowly which means there is a problem. I referred to the problem section in my manual and it says it's the wrong rom program, or the chip is in backwards. The chip is in correctly. the chip's don't come pre programed.. (i think ) you need someone with a stage 4 to program it for you.. and normaly depending on which chip was shiped to you... the chip is only writeable once.. ( i think 27xxxx = once ) 29xxxx = writeable many times.

if the chip is blank gettin a rom map sent to you won't help unless u have someone with a 4b to program it for you.

other wise if the chip is't blank.. you might have wired something incorrectly

The chip I have is the 27XXX one. I was supposed to have the rewriteable one. It's also supposed to come preprogrammed with a base map so that the car is driveable.

I need the entire chip already programmed sent to me, not just a file.

About the incorrect wiring...unless I'm missing something, but you just take out the old ECU plug in the jumper harness and chipped ECU and then plug in the wire coming from the ECU box into the hondata box.

So does anyone have spare PREprogrammed ROM chips?? Thanks

 

Come on up to Atlanta and I will help you out. You can drive the car by just disabling the hondata (remove the jumper on J1 will disable the hondata). 27c256 is a write once EEprom. I can write one for you, but then you will need to get it tune, so you will need another EEprom.

 

See thats the problem. I already have the 440CC injectors soldered in. It runs but its extremely rich, it sputters and such. Is it possible for you to send me a EPROM already programmed?
