Default NEED HELP. D16 s300

To all those who can help.

I have a D16y8 98 Acura EL.

Here's my issue. Have s300 (used it before on other projects) When I try to set my base timing to 12 as per honda, it shows the 0 mark on the crank. I'm 12 degrees off. The crank pulley shows I'm at TDC.

for starters:
Cap / rotor change (no difference)
Igniter change (no difference)
Changed timing map (no difference)
Rechecked belt timing (no difference)
Tried researching all I can, can't find anything on the web.

Thanks guys, wanna beat it good and shred some tires before I ship out.

What timing light are you using?
Are you setting the timing light to 0 or to 12 then shooting the timing?

Just an update, even tried a different timing light, still no change. Think I will put my stock injectors back in and put my p2p back in car and check again.

Any ideas?

Yet another update...

I removed 525 precision injectors, installed stock injectors with stock p2p. set timing to 12 degrees.

The only weird thing is my distributor is cocked all the way counterclockwise (if looking at distributor from passenger side.

Reconnected s300 with 525 injectors. Timing still off when vehicle running. Shows 20-21 degrees at idle in display, showing appx 6-8 degrees on crank pulley (advanced)

Anyone seen this before?

Make sure your cam timing is at top dead center.
Setup the ignition sync in the smanager software to 12 degrees. Set the ignition timing at the distributor to 12 degrees then you are done.
