this isnt FI related but i know you guys in the FI section are the real guru's. i just bought a car and it didnt have a dizzy, so i put a dizzy on and try and crank it, it cranks, and there is spark, and the spark plugs are good, but the car will not start, so i figure taht it must be feul taht is missing, so i replace the feul pump, put in new injectors, and the car still will not start. what could it be?

 

It takes 4 things to make an engine run. Air fuel spark and compression, well actually 5, cause if your cam timming is off alot it wont run, it if it does it wont run real well. Try posting in the tech next time tho.

To start off

 

Test your TPS with a multimeter. And does it crank and "pop and bang" every time you try to start it? After a few primes? or intermittently?

 

Check thread dates before responding to them, this thread would be old enough to drive a car if it was a person.
