Need help with boosted Accord...
Hey guys looking for some solutions to a problem im having with my turbo accord. Question is that when im driving in any gears and once i get to 4k my car spits an sputters/ cuts out but only at 4k..Once i get about 5k it clears out and hauls ***. Ive boosted plenty of hondas before and have never had this issue. Here is my list of mods to the car...
1997 Accord LX F22B2 Sohc
Motor- Car has stock bore on block just fresh hone to cylinders, Wiseco stock compression pistons, Eagle rods, all king bearings, Block guard.
Has RC 750cc injectors, walboro 255, converted to obd1 tuned on crome at 14psi.
Turbo- Garrett T3/To4e Hybrid turbo, XS power 38mm gate, Greddy Type s bov, custom turbo header/downpipe.
Ive been told that my buddies boosted del sol did the same thing and it was his ignition control module took a ****...
Im wondering if any of you guys have ever experienced anything like this?? It almost feels like it shoots spark but has new wires, NGK plugs 1 step colder than stock gapped way down to 25. Almost feels like im getting to much fuel but i am not. Any help would be appreciated.
