Re: need help bad!!!! (KLN)
helicoil (sp) you can get them at your local parts store, it kinda looks like a drill bit that you put in there and it grabs the peice and you run it out. Do allot of people have a problem with this?

Re: need help bad!!!! (rjardy)
will that helicoil work even with my engine still in? because there is very limited space...
pretty much the whole threading is stuck in the block, nothhin' is stickin' out far enough to grab

And it's hollow, correct?
Can you get a small screwdriver in, and then wedge it in and then turn the threaded piece out with the screwdriver wedged in there?...you may not have enough room to
do this. I thought those helicoils just added new threading for a stripped out hole.

that would be correct, helicoils only add new thread when it is stripped. What you actually want is an easy-out or screw extractor. They are found at the local hardware store. The screwdriver trick might work but most likely you will have to get an easy-out.

Re: need help bad!!!! (94goldjungsr)
i have a question...if i was to push the bolt all the way in, where would it go? oil pan?
no i wasn't runnin' the oil with no turbo, everytime i drove the car oild would start drippin', so i thought it was a simple leak, i was gonna redo all my oil lines when my "T" just fell off with an easy pull....

If you use an easy out, just make sure you don't break it off, like someone did in my manifold! I got it out with the aid of a drill press and fuggin blowtorch, but it sucked.
I think the moral of this story is to not put a T directly onto the block. Do the install as described on the endyn site and run a hose from the block to the T mounted to the firewall, so there's no stress on it.

i was putting in my buddy's T and the damn copper piece snapped off and i was in the same boat you were in. It was VERY easy to extract, as stated before get the easy out or whatever the hell its called. Hammer it in good then unscrew it from the hole. easy as pie

Re: need help bad!!!! (GudeH23a)
SAME Exact thing happened to me. Thats why I run an oil line off of that, up to the top and T it from the TOP. The BRASS T's are BRITTLE and WILL Break off, especially if you have a heavy item on it like the Autometer oil sensor. When you shift hard it will rattle it and break it.
To remove it, you can DRILL IT OUT. However you have to be very careful when doing that. Use the smallest bit then move upwards until you get the bit that is a perfect fit. Then drill .... it'll make the brass threads weak. THen you can pry it with a thin flat head. Don't use a bit that is too big or you'll drill all the threads on the block...
