Need help asap
Is it safe to boost gsr motor @ 15 psi thats been bored 20 over but with no sleeves or block gaurd? Assuming it has all the supporting mods like 9-1 comp, rods and fuel.

personally I wouldn't do it unless I was using hondata. I've seen more then 15 psi on an un-sleeved block. I would definitely consider putting a block guard for the extra insurance.

Very true... I wouldnt risk destroying your motor at 15psi by little detonation.

no it is not safe. i recommend resleeving the block and running a block guard, or get the darton sleeve kit that will convert your block into a closed deck one.

I would run 15 psi on an LS not a GSR, simple cost of replacement issue, you can have the best tuned motor in the world, one tank of bad tank of gas or voltage fluctuations can change all that. (this is only in ref to stock cylinder
