Need advice on Elec Boost controllers.
I am currently in the market for a electronic boost controller to manage boost on my internal wastegated T28 in my 1G CRX. I am currently running the Grainger valve MBC setup and it causes minor boost spikes and inconsistent boost levels. Does any one know of a dead reliable boost controller that will fix this problem?

The avcr allows you to control boost per speed/rpm, and you can adjust the duty according to rpms as well so you can accurately cancel out boost spikes.
it takes a little tuning w/ the avcr, but i liked it when i had it.

I am currently running the S-AFC to control fuel maps with the 450cc injectors, I have been told by a speed shop that if I were to install the AVCR that I would have to run the S-AFC as well?? If this is the case I will just save up 300 more bucks and get a independant fuel mgmnt system.
Thanks,

A boost controller won't affect your fuel curves so yes you would have to have both and yes, if the extra 300 bucks isn't a problem I would say buy a standalone. Piggybacks are only good up to a point and you can never get perfect tuning out of them anyways.
The problem I have lies within the inconsistent boost levels not the fuel maps which I have no problems with. Just wanted to clarify.
