My SOHC 1/4 time
I'm going to hang again more around here, too much good info. I know there's a lot more talk about the B series but I've been surprise about how many topic they were for our D engine. So, here's the run I made 1 month ago, 16psi on a fully built D16Z6, full interior, around 2600lbs with me. I was running quite borderline on the fuel side, injectors were max out. Bigger ones will be installed shortly.
Here's the slip
Here's the vid

Oh, and 1 week later, I went to a dyno day and I made 310whp and 232wtq, still with 16psi. Hopefully, and 11's second pass will come shortly.

Re: My SOHC 1/4 time
I'm currently using 8 345cc injectors. I'm replacing 4 of them with 450cc DSM injectors which are controlled by a Greddy Rebic IV. It does a great job and it's really easy to tune but it's no stand alone. AEM, please sponsor me ?

i was wondering whats the setup internally and what size and what kind of slicks u running...any problems with snapping axles??
this makes me proud of the Single Cam motors....12.3 is ****** fast...i would love to pull a 12.9 with some slicks on my setup at 10 psi...but i never ran it with 10...i think i should now...i want to be in the 12 second club

I'm also wonderin what kind of tires...and what chassis are you running?
Very good numbers. I think a hair higher than boosteded9 (though his z6 was stock )

Re: My SOHC 1/4 time (eg6turbo)
Car is 11 years old and it still have original axles. I was running 22x8x15 slicks and a TD05-20G for the turbo. I probably had a bit less power since it was a very hot day at the track.
ion_four: You say boosteded9 ran faster than this with a stock Z6 ? What was his setup ? Kind of hard to beleive since most people say a Z6 can handle a maximum of 225hp-250hp.

Are you running LSD?
from BoostedED9's signature:
"88 CRX Si-turbo (d16z6 stock internals) 302hp 251tq- 11.83@123.4 @16.5psi"
I believe he ended up spinning a bearing though. He also is more likely lighter than you. What chassis are you in again?

Re: My SOHC 1/4 time (Midwestrider)
Really impressive for a stock Z6. Yes his car must be 500lbs lighter than mine, I haven't gutted anything in mine. Yes I'm running Quaiffe LSD.
