my notches
so I finally got around to notching my block for my rods. I had an extra block laying aroudn so I practiced on that. I didn't think it was too hard. and I will prob. go and finish my spare block "just incase"
I used a crank I had with a spun bearing to put the rods on to check clearance. (that way I wouldn't have to mess with the micropolished one. everythign seemed to rotate ok, so I guess there is enough clearance.
I just want to get some opinions if there was anything I should do to the notches before I take it ot get honed. I went and rounded all the edges with sandpaper… so let me know what you think.

well.....i havent posted many posts on here.....but from what i can tell in comparison to other pics of notched blocks..your notches look a tad bit too small.....i may be wrong though......just my 2 cents....anyone else?
well I was kinda thinking it was too small. but I mean if it spins it spins right? I had clearance with my spare crank/rod/piston set up.
