Default My new dyno numbers

My car was just tuned by Shad at Abacus Racing of Va Beach. The car made 400.5 horses and 301.9 ft./lbs at 18 psi. These numbers were made on 116 octane and my thermal exhaust was still hooked up (3 inch). Im real happy with the numbers the car just made. Im deployed overseas so I dont know how the car feels but im sure its a beast. Yeah ive been deployed for 4 months and I decided to put all that extra money to good. The car was tuned by Polk Performance before i left and they were only able to get like 295 horses out of it on a mustang dyno. goes out to Polk Performance. They may have built the bottom end right but they do not have a clue on how to tune. Apparently it took over 31 pulls to tune the car cause shad found numerous broken wires on the hondata from Polk. I just thought you all may of wanted to know my numbers. My setup is:

B18a (GE sleeved , 83mm bore)
Eagle Rods
Arias Pistons (9:1)
JG Proseries Head with Victor X mani
Turbonetics T3/T04E (not sure on specs i bought it used and dint have a clue about turbos back then, doh on me )
Spearco front mount
Rev Hard cast iron mani (log style)
All custom piping
Tial BOV and wastegate
Aem fuel rail and FPR
Hondata 3bd
MSD 6BTM and Crane coil

Polk is a very respected tuner. TO add to that I dynoed 140whp on a mustang dyno. Hardly impressive, but I pulled 99mph traps in a 2800 lbs car with those numbers. Sounds impossible untill you realize how a mustang dyno works. They aren't comparable to a dynojet, or even different cars used on a mustang dyno. They are only good to compare the same car back to back on a mustang dyno.

yeah im not sure what happend at polk and my car. I mean when i got the car back it would not even idle right. It would always cut off and die all the time. I mean they said they had troubles reprogramming the car on the dyno (i think the emulator messes up or something). Besides the tuning they did I was real impressed with the custom piping and down pipe. Just was very upset that I paid for hours of tuning and when i recieved the car I only had 3 dyno print outs. I mean polk had the best customer service in the world, just that they didnt tune my car worth a damn

I was there when your car was dynoed it was a monster. Your dad was mad cool for doing that for you, it's funny he'd look for the magic 400 number buit leave cuz it was cold as nuts down n the dyno room. He was excited and all, wish my dad was like that.
to your dad for doing this for you dude, now that's a present. LOL it was deja vu cuz the car looks almost exactly like mine minus the Rota C8s, mine now has Black Group Ns. Congrats glad you're happy!

Hey Boostfed, thanks for the positive feedback. I havent actually met you yet but have heard many good things about you from Gray at Millenium Autosports and have been keepin up with your car here on honda-tech. I must say your car is everyones dream. 500 horsepower, that right there says enough for me. Keep up the good work. I look forward to meeting you , shad , and everyone else when I get back from this deployment. I cant wait to actually get in the drivers seat and take it out for a spin. Take care man. I sent you a IM also Boostfed!

To answer a few of your questions im running MSD 72lb injectors. The number to Abacus Racing is (757) 363-8878. Hope this helps. I really appreciate all the feedback. Take care..
