Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago a 93 year old woman in an 86' oldsmobile sedan ran a red light and hit my 92' vx, totaling it. Luckily the only thing on the motor that was badly damaged was the wastegate and radiator. Somehow the intercooler survived with only some bent fins. Her insurance company paid up quick and I had a new car within 3 days, a 95' cx. 2 days later i swapped my old motor in and rigged up a wastegate from an old saab turbo for the time being


So the moral of the story here is...when looking for a new house/apartment, try to find one that isn't within 1 mile of a retirement community!

btw, my greddy boost controller box was mounted on the frame right behind the front bumper and the frame actually bent around the box! it wasn't damaged at all. We had to sawzal that part of the frame apart just to get it out haha that thing is strong.

 

how much did u pay for the new car?? looks pretty new and paint is pretty nice... too bad we have to deal with rust up in MIchigan.. lucky southerners..

 

that sucks but that is a nice car and im so impressed that it took you less than a week to do all that stuff. my friend had to wait two months to get paid and hes still looking for a car.

I paid $4k for it. It's a 95' with 60k miles. It's in really good condition...i just haven't had time to clean it yet. I did wash the front passenger wheel though..
