My new build.
Last Wednesday I blew my motor on the interstate. I may have spiked it or just overrevved. However I pulled the valve cover off and saw coolant in my head so I know I have a blown headgasket. Did a leakdown test: cyl 1 and 3 are good, 2 is not so good and 4 is gone. Tonight I'm going to pull off my head and hope that it's just a blown head gasket and not a bent rod or bent valves or whatever. If so, here will be my new daily driver build.
Sleeve my block
700cc+ injectors
Hondata
Eagle Rods
JE Pistons
Cometic Head Gasket
ACL Bearings
ARP head studs
Fix my tie rod boots, oil pan gasket and rear main seal. Put in my stage 3 clutch and an air/fuel gauge.
Should be done by the end of February or March-ish.
I will keep you updated as the build continues.

Here I am draining the oil, check out the grey murky color. (radiator fluid and oil mixed)

About to take the cams and gears out of my head.

Notice the radiator fluid?

Cams and gears out.

Don't ask, but this is how Acura techs take off the intake manifold.

and this is the conclusion to my blown motor.

HP will be around 300hp+ around 7-lbs.
It will be built for about 700hp+ but I will be keeping the boost down low. I'm building my block bulletproof and I don't want this **** happening again. Plus if I turn around an sell it someday people will like a built motor.

Sorry about the motor but the good thing is doing the rebuild so it can handle some big power.
We can install some Darton MID sleeves that can handle about anything you can throw at it. ERL is a distributor for Darton so we have the sleeves in stock or we already have some B18C motors sleeved with Darton MID's and the only thing they are waiting on the to be cylinder honed. PM me for more details.

7lbs I may have spiked it and not noticed.

Did you have something pulling timing out? I'm assuming due to your FMU that you werent running a EMS and also had nothing pulling timing. So that nice crack in your sleeve is most likely due to detonation. Is all this correct to assume? Good luck with the new build. Some may advise to use a different rod if your gonna build such a solid setup.
