Is my head okay?
I pulled the head, and I don't know what could have been ruined or signs of a bent valve. But the piston in the number 4 cylinder (the one the rod broke in) was at TDC, while the other 3 weren't. So I'm guessing the piston hit the head and stopped moving, but I don't think alot of force was involved, considering there are no marks on the piston or the combustion chamber #4.
Here are some pics.....(to confirm that nothing was ruined)
here is how the car sits now, just b.c. i like takin pics

thanks again

I'd recommend at least inspecting the valve stems for straightness and checking the rest of the valvetrain (springs/retainers/etc) for anything out of the ordinary. Moving parts don't like to stop on a dime.

Looks can be deceiving.
The only surefire way to make sure it's still good is to have it checked out with the proper tools.
Otherwise, there's nothing in the pictures to indicate anything wrong. If you're feeling lucky, throw it on and hope that it holds. BTW, you might also want to play the Powerball, it's up to $340Million.

Looks fine, but I would disassemble the valves
in that one chamber and take em to someone
with a valve re-facer and lightly touch them up,
This will show even the smallest of bending.
Even a vacuum test can be deceiving, because
the vacuum pump can be strong enough to overcome
a very small leak,I port heads and do valve jobs
every day, this is high performance stuff,
do it right

how did your rod break? I just threw a rod on my b18a1 that was completely n/a. When mine broke it bent the 2 intake valves on that cylinder. And you could clearly tell because they would not close completely because of being bent. I dont think your are bent but you should definatley inspect them first. Mine probably wouldnt have bent if I didnt keep restarting it and driving it lol. If I were to have just left it alone after it shut off it might have been ok, but I was done with the motor anyway and wanted to see if it would keep running with a huge hole in the block .

yep...venom
seems like the valves all seat fine. i was cleaning the carbon off the head by filling the combustion chamber with fuel, all seemed to hold the same amount of liquid
