I think you should get re-tuned for 11 psi instead of just turning it up.
How much did Elite charge you for tuning? $180 for 2 hours?

Cool, didn't know that.
But how much did you pay for tuning?

How will hondata compensate for the increase of boost if your only tuned at 6psi? I think you should make sure you have a wideband to watch that A/F ratio @11psi if you were'nt tuned for it

Your motor can handle 200whp daily no problem with good tuning.

LOL no it won't, you have to get it tuned for 11psi...

I think you have no idea what your talking about....
The O2 sensor and Map sensor can tell if I'm running more boost....When I'm at part throttle and only getting a couple psi the map sensor and o2 sensor will adjust the amount of fuel injected to keep the afr at what ever the tuner set it at...for my case it always 12 afr under boost... This applies to the all throttle positions...
Hondata...
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Dude your a moron.... if you car is tuned for 6psi that's as high as you can go without adjusting your maps. You need to go retune your car if you want to run 11psi.

hondata doesn't know how much air flow your turbo will have at 11psi.
you don't have a wideband hooked up to your hondata, therefore your stock o2 sensor will NOT tell the hondata how to get down to the 12.0 AFR area.
you will need to be retuned.

I wouldn't call 163whp/150wtq a b-series killer either... any decent b-series motor... LS/Vtec, GSR, Type R, etc... will be smoking you.

Turn it up to 11psi then... just make sure and post your pictures when your motor blows you idiot. You obviously didn't understand what yout tuner was telling you. Maybe you should call him back yourself.

Doubtful. Show me a N/A B-Series making that much tq.

How often do you street race? Were not racing on the internet... just because he might have like 20-30 more torque on paper doesn't mean ****. Any of those motors built right will have just as much if not more power. The kind of tires, suspension, LSD, driver experiance, etc... also come into play. Just from reading all this guy's post he obviously doesn't have a clue what he is talking about, so I am adding that into the equation as well.

BBKA's right, do you know how to tune and how it works? Your boost pressure and RPM control how much fuel is put in via the Hondata map's settings. You're tuned to 6psi not 11.

I race plenty, on the street and at the track (only 3 times at the track though). Haven't seen a B-series coupe keep up with me. Now hatches, that's another story...but we won't go there.
Of course there are a lot of variables. But as a rule:
"HP sells cars. Torque wins races."
D-series R/S ratio
