I have a charged d16y7, pretty basic with a .43 trim t3 from a volvo.

Look at the baseline haha, I was using the settings from thedropshop.com in the vafc.

Nice numbers man ! 230whp is very healthy for that setup at that boost level.

The manifold is custom made. Whats wrong with the red accents?

I would post a 1/4 time but it sucks *** and you would fall over laughing and it might cause you to laugh so hard that your gut would literally bust open!

ran 16.1 I have troubles launching Still new to drag racing. The pro tree is too quick for me, I smoke too many drugs!

The red is a little much, but other than that the engine bay looks clean!

-D16y7 block bore out .01mm balanced crank, balanced rods, srp pistons, str block guard, cometic head gasket.
-D16y8 head, with skunk2 cam gear
-Custom turbo setup, with .43 trim t3
-Intercooled
-Holley secondary fuel pump
-B&M FPR, and Fuel guage
-Blitz bov (not dual drive)
-Msd sci, blaster ss coil, 8mm plug wires
-STR Fuel rail
- 450 dsm injectors
-VAFC HACK
-Lightened flywheel
-ACT Street disc with a Heavey Duty presure plate.

It doesn't look intercooled because I use a probe intercooler, and it sits where the AC rad thing sits.

with a built sohc turbo ... i'd hope that wouldn't be a problem. now he just needs to worry about keeping up with the stock motor boosted b-series

what comp do the pistons put u at? thats pretty good for only 11 lbs. u should up the boost. if i had built pistons, and a block gaurd id be at 15 daily.

ive got a spare d16y8 laying around, i might rebuild as cheap as possible. but im to damn broke right now. im so broke i can;t even finish putting my turbo kit on cause i forgot i needed some parts and now its half on and im out of cash. haha.

bump the boost up alittle, get urberdata, and some dsm 450s, and run 15 daily. also the ford intercooler is a great little intercooler, but id consider buying a small FMIC, i picked one up for 240 shipped brand new. pm me and ill send u the ebay link.

either way, great numbers and sweet setup.

When I bought the head the dude didn't tell me he got it milled, so I ended up frying a piston. So I don't know what the exact compression ratio is.

When I was tuning it it started pining at 10 psi and the dude said it would be safer if we dumped some c16 in it.
