my downpipe and E cutout pics
This was search for a 3inch downpipe and electric cutout with AC and everything else, i think it came out to 2and7/8th downpipe, i used my DMH e-cutout that i have had for 6 months, and piece of 3 inch flex pipe all stainless steel, and all tig welded, TJ did a superb job welding and making all the flanges, in the first pic you can see he even made me a new wastegate tube and brought it away from the engine.
Thanks to Sam, and TJ @ Coastal Chassis Dyno and performance
havent done any dyno numbers yet but im sure its better than my old DRAG downpipe
Looks good man. I only have one question. Why does it curve from the back of the car? You would think that it would flow better if the curve for the e cutout came from the front. Im not saying this is wrong...just asking if theres something i dont know. Maybe it has something to do with backpressure or something?
the pictures dont really show the angle its on too well, but we were really running out of room, so we did what we could. as far as some of the other companies that make E-cutout downpipes, i havent gotten a single one to fit so far, so we resorted to making it
