My current little project...
So thats whats keeping you from posting the 60-1 map
Can't wait to see the dyno graphs of the z.
Oversquare as it is, I think its going to like boost.
VQ35DE
95.5mm Bore
81.4mm Stroke
More oversquare than the RB26DETT (Skyline Motor).
3.5liter vs. 2.6liter ..hrmm
Ive seen baseline graphs of the 350z (usually around 235whp, & 230ft-lbs). With 8psi, I estimate:
330-350whp @ 6.2k rpm
320-340ft-lbs @ 4.8k rpm

Those turbos are way to small
Especially using BB! Remember, larger turbos make colder air and are easier on the motor at a given boost level....less detonation prone. Its ussually not sheer hp that kills engines, just detonation...

Tony, that makes me want to go out and get me a new welder, My little wire-feeder only does mild steel. Mind you it looks dam good, but still not the good stuff. :/ Wish I had a tig to do the goos stuff. then nothing could stop me!!
Looks good Tony...I saw the mani's in person everyone and all I can say is WOW

Congrats on the project, look like you guys are doing an awesome job. I would love to see it when its done.
If you want to run, im game.
I'll probably be running the Nopi Drag series next year with the Batlground Supra.
Can't wait to see your car, good luck with it!

Well, if you hit full boost at 5500 and have to shift at 7000 then they won't be too effective. Sizing a turbo has alot to do with the powerband you are looking for. This is a street car and those turbos should be capable of around 600whp, way more than this thing will make for now!
On the downpipe, it's a purpose made dent. The outlet flange on the turbos is an odd shape, kinda oval. I ovaled the end of the pipe to match it.
