Default my contribution on hood venting

I have bought me some origin Mitsubishi EVO VII hood vents for 350 USD and now I´ll mount them in my OEM hood. It should give me some cooling effect on my turboed type-R. More cooling effects are coming with a grill between the head lights.

I'm so sorry.

Damn, post your opinion on my work and not things like *you should insert a second vent on the right side* or *Maybe you should take the picture in the sun*

I have made this quick shot for H-T and not for *image-world-champion-chip*

Under the grill goes a sheet of metall with 1mm holes. This metall actualy let about 50% air out. It also let not so much rain in. A bit of water does´nt matter, so long not the air filter or electrical plugs are directly under the vents. The metall sheet should protect cops from looking into the ebnine bay

Don't know til you actually have it mounted on the car. But I can "kinda" imagine how it looks like.

One thing you could have done was take underhood temp measurements BEFORE and AFTER the vents. It's not too late!...just duct tape over the exisiting hole in your hood.

IS´nt that logic, that there must go another one on the right, otherwise it would look ugly. I have wrote in the first post that there goes vents in.

Sorry I'm hungry now and a bit angry, cause so much people does not read exactly.

he's right, it does looked messed up with only one vent. It just looks like something is missing. It's natural to look for symetry.

I was just saying if you took the pic in the light it would be easier to see. From what I can make out, it looks good. I may change my opinion when I see it in the light though.

I was actually considering selling my J&S to come up with money to cover the cost of a Haltech or Hondata. But I wouldn't do it until after I got the standalone and had a chance to use the J&S for tuning.
