Default Multiple Turbo Questions....

Well i just bought a turbo kit. It's a mix of drag and greddy. It came with a greddy 18g turbo, and a type 31 intercooler and everything else looks to be from drag. First off, I didn't get a blue box with it, however i did get the fmu that comes with the drag kits (i think its the vertech 12:1). I wanted to know if this drag fmu was pretty much the same as the blue box and lets me run at low boost. I also don't have injectors with the kit. Is it safe to install the turbo on stock injectors? I have an inline fuel pump with the kit. Please let me know if there's anything else i should have before installation. I wish i knew how to post pics so that i could show what i do have. Thanks.

the vortech is not the ame as the bue box however yes thats fine to run. make sure you put the fuel pump in. are you sure the manifold isnt greddy too??? if its not then the turbo wont fit.

It must be the greddy then because the turbo came mounted on the manifold already. I just don't understand how the drag fmu works. The greddy wires into ur ecu but the drag just doesnt make sense to me.

And how is it safe to run on stock injectors? Won't that make me run to lean?

FMU will raise your fuel pressure. So stock injectors are fine for low boost. Don't forget to use a missing link or check valve setup.

that whole kit is greddy. yea you will need a missing link or check valves for that setup.
