Default multiple gt35r questions

I have some questions about the gt35r that I haven't been able to find a straightforward answer to.
First, can you get the turbo with a factory garrett ported inlet shroud/housing whatever the hell you call it. In other words, an inlet side that looks like the gt3076r. Or the inlet side of a holset, "map width enhancement" ..that's been around for a long time. Borg warners/schwitzers have that style inlet housing too. I've seen gt35rs that supposedly have it, but not on full race's site, wtf?

2nd..what do the model # designations mean? Ie, how is a gt35r a gt3582r if it has the 1.06 exhaust housing? Wtf, shouldn't that be a gt35103r? full race has at least a couple gt35rs listed like this. As you can tell, I do not want to end up buying the wrong thing.

3rd..what's up with the t4 exhaust housing? I'm leaning toward the twin scroll t4 housing, but I haven't seen any legit dyno comparisons between that and the t3 .82 one.
Thanks for any knowledge

its not called a gt35103 because the "82" in gt3582 represents the compressors exducer size not the turbine covers a/r. its just a coincidence that they offer a .82 a/r and the exducer is 82mm.

second garrett does not offer the ported shroud on the compressor that is done by aftermarket companies.

Precision has the ported shroud. They use garrett center sections and throw their covers on.

There's a seller on ebay right now who told me that his turbo is all factory garrett, yet it has that gt3076 style inlet. So he's full of **** then? I'm not planning on buying a turbo on ebay, I just saw it it and was like, wtf, those don't have that style inlet..so I asked him about it.

Well the GT30 and the GT35r share the same compressor wheel GT40! It's the turbine wheel that is different. The GT30R garrett ported inlet shroud/housing can be easily used on a GT35R. All it is, is a TO4S ported shroud housing. Like I said, the compressor wheel should be the same for both the GT3082R and GT35R.

the gt30r aka gt3076r has a smaller compressor wheel than the gt35r. unless you specifically get the gt3040r aka gt3082r which is fairly rare.

well you got the last couple words in i guess, but when people say gt30r they rarely mean the one with the gt40 wheel.

garrett doesnt make the housings for the gt40 wheel right now. other companies do. if they did every 35r we ordered would have it. and so would mine lol

Well so would I, but I'm happy with my GT35R the way it is.

Ok, true..

So basically, you can get the 35r with the garrett to4s ported shroud, but it doesn't come that way fom garrett, you have to get it swapped on? Doesn't seem like much of a problem..
So how does the order of exhaust flow got then, .gt3082r, gt35r with the .63 a/r, then the .82 or whatever a/r, then the t4 single scroll?
Where does the t4 twin scroll fit in then, I'm guessing a little before the t4 single scroll..?

Every gt40 I have seen, like this gt4088r, has that style housing though. ???

this may be confusing but the "gt40" wheel is in the gt35r and the gt3082r not in the gt40r's. the gt4088r has a larger compessor wheel and garrett does make the ported compressor cover for that.
