i would also like to point out that when i did this on my d16y7 for my turbo oil feed i gota a massive oil like when using a 3593 oil filter.
so if you're using 3593 filter use a 6811 (same thread) but its off some acuras (i beleive legendes) and the oil filter sits down all the way as oppsoed to a 3593 which the seal did not seat at all.
im not sure about oem honda blue fitlers.

So what if you install the dowels on the intake side? I have a stock headgasket and this is how they fit best in my setup without doing any modifications.
So the primary function of the dowels is to locate the head on the block and make sure the headgasket is aligned right. If this happens when the dowels are in the intake side of the block everything should be ok. Right?

Man, I thought something was missing from the kit I bought from you guys.
It included DETAILED instructions on how to screw on a sandwich adapter, but nothing on what side the dowel pins should go on... or how to tap/plug the oil hole in the head. Seemed odd to me at the time.

Yeah, somehow the instructions have eluded the packaging. Sorry guys. If you know anyone else that may have this kit, please point them here for instructions

do you make those oil filter adapters in house?? I'd be VERY interested in one for a ford 2.3turbo engine.

Yes, all in house. What Ford motor are you talking about? Let me know
*EDIT* read your sig. Let me know what thread pitch and o-ring size your motor uses ( or just give me an oil filter number ) and I can see what we have.
