I already thread locked the rotor screw, although mine never came loose or any signs of coming loose when I had it in the car for a few months. You should search for one of my early MSD Pro billet threads which contains lots of into from other members with quite a number of guys running into a number of problems... There are procedures you should take while installing the dizzy (basically checking for loose screws)

My stock ignition worked okay at 9500 RPM level, but once I shoved to 5th gear, the stock dizzy didn't like the overdriven load when approaching 160-170 mph. I also had to keep all OEM components (coil, ignitor, rotor) absolutely mint. After one oil change, the car will start lightly misfiring as usual, indicating a "tune up needed"..lol 10.5:1 CR, ITB's and water injection needs quite a bit of spark to keep up.</TD></TR></TABLE>i fixed all of the known problems before i put it on the car even with loctite from the start the rotor cam loose i run an mw ign box so i dont use a msd coil or there ignitor deal

i had the rotor problem too, just loctited and was good to go....
never had an issue with replacement parts....always got from Jegs/Summit in no time
seen 10.5k shifting, and have seen 40+lbs without misfires, and thats with a 6al and blaster coil lol-all changed now
I cant say much for the Coil drivers though, thats why i got rid of my driver but am still using the distributer.

I'm running an MW Pro10 so I'm not using the junk *** coil driver either.

I am on my second distributor now, my 1st one only lasted 100 miles. The rotor actually catapulted through the cap, also taking out my vtec oil pressure switch

MSD replaced the dizzy with no questions asked, and like everyone else I pulled the new one apart and put locktite on all of the exposed bolts underneath the cap (2 rotor screws and also did the allen head cap screws)

Had this distributor on for over a year and a half and 3000 miles, no problems now.

The only problem that I ever had was when I bought mine it came with a bad coil driver. It has since then been replaced under warranty and works fine.

It's for sale too.
