I never had ignition missing issues until I went over 18 PSI, which wasn't an issue with my JRSC. If your OEM ignition works, then I'd run it.

My brother switched to the MSD distributor and coil setup. It worked great for a few weeks, then died. He's back to OEM now.

Stay OEM. Maybe add a blaster coil if anything.
