i recnetley purchsed a used turbo kit and it has no FMU, i purcahsed a misisng link and NOS fuel pump off of artturbo and i was wonderinf if any of you guys know anything about this fmu and if its effective etcc, its cheap in price and adjustable i just want some more insite on this before i actually purcahsed it.

 

from the description, it pretty much does what the FMU does, but how does it know hoe much to raise the fuel pressure by ?

I am not too sure, but if I were you, I'd stick with the regular vortech FMU

ask arturbo, see if he still has his..I think he does

 

You might not want to order from Overboost. While their website is pretty informative, their customer service leaves much to be desired. Long story short, they took over 3 weeks to process my order, and when I got tired of waiting and called to cancel, the guy was all,"oh, it's been shipped already so I can't cancel it", but he couldn't give me a tracking number. When I finally got my order, I checked the tracking number, and it turns out it was shipped the day AFTER I had called to cancel.

 

heheh ouch .. well hopefully mr. arturbo will have one for me and cut it for me at a nice low price damn turbo is expesive %&#*(
