Default are MSD 6A's needed....really...

are they needed past a certain PSI, like 15psi and up?

to be quite honest, with the right fuel management to match your setup, i have total trust in a stock honda ignition system that is performing like it should.

i read somewhere that msd boxes arent needed, but like a external coil only. idk if thats true or not

External coils are a MUST. Honda coils are actuly pretty shitty, but other than that you would prob. be fine. I like my dis6 personaly
