Default Mounting oil feed line question

I have a ZC with what appears to be some kind of oil cooler between the the block and the oil filter. Problem is I cant screw in the oil line "t" into the spot where the oil pressure sensor was (and I think there was some sort of rubber gasket that got pushed in) And I also broke the very brittle line that was feeding this oil cooler.

I guess my question is.Is there another source of oil pressure besides that pressure sensor that i can tap into or is there something I can put between the block and the oil filter and run a line off that?

yeah I ordered a plate so I hope that will work.. I bought a new hose BTW and put everything back. I tell ya what.. every I go try fit a new part, it doesnt fit. The manifold, turbo, piping, oil feed and next are the injectors and ECU. this is turning into a reall pain. So far everything has had to be altered in a big way. But thanks for the reply.
