Default Mounting catch cans?

I'm running two catch cans on my boosted B16, one with lines that run to the block, and the other that runs to the valve cover. Now what i want to know is this, someone told me that i have to mount that catch cans at least where its level to the motor?

Wow, way to help the man out and give proof of your point. What makes it an even more valid statement is the fact that you used 1. all caps 2. "TRU" instead of "true". Seems very educated...

To the OP, I have heard both sides of the coin. I have never seen any proof of which one is correct. I would think mount it level, or above drain points even if a slight bit, to play it safe. Hopefully someone can step in here and give some findings/thoughts on the subject

I've heard keep it level, too. I haven't seen any proof to back it up yet either so I'm in for results.

If you have a drain from the catch tank back to the block then the catch tank must be slightly above or level to the port or fitting on the engine in order for the fluid to flow back into the motor... If your catch tank does not drain back to the engine the you can mount the catch tank anywere you want.

not to be off topic but does anyone every use a vacuum source to help pull the vapors? like, does anyone have a line tapped into the preturbo intake pipe so that vacuum assists the pulling of the vapors/pressure?
