Motorola 2.5 bar map sensor problems
I pulled my turbo motor and setup out of my teg (it was running just fine) and put it in my hatch. And for some reason now, when i try to run off the Motorola map sensor the car will run for about 4-5 seconds and sputter and die. But as soon as i switch it back to the OEM, its fine. Does tht mean my Motorola is bad? Has anyone ever had a problem with this map sensor? I have checked the wiring like 25 times and its right, so i know its not that. any help is greatly appreciated.
Just for the sake of whoring my new car:

Yeah....everything is the same. Im wonderin if the sensor might have gotten banged up at some point. it doesnt make sense except the sensor is bad.

the sensor is sensitive. I received mine in the mail from xenocron and I would start the car with it and like your problem, start for about 4-5 seconds and sputter and die. when I installed mine I never cut off the OEM plug so with my 2.5 bar map plugged in I was getting no reference voltage. without the car running, you should be getting around 1.8vdc for reference voltage. I was getting like .285VDC. the sensor was obviously F**ked. I ended up having to buy another one and when I plugged it in, it worked flawlessly. check your reference voltage with just your key to on(no start). oh BTW, if you plugged this thing in backwards once, it's f**ked. and my OEM sensor worked T*T's

Yeah i had the plug for it backwards to begin with.
So im assuming that would have toasted it. i just ordered another one so hopefuly thats the problem.
