Default Motor Rebuild time!

Well, the orifice in my AEM FPR blew out, sendding ALOT of fuel into my motor, injectors, through my vacuum lines.. wastegate, bov, chargepipes, EVERYTHING.

Long story short, my motor hydrolocked from too much fuel, bent rod. :x

I'm going to rebuild it, but with just a block guard, no sleeves.
What piston/rod setup would you guys recomend? And, which brand blockguard?

man that sux. That is not a thing that happens often.

Not sure on blockguard. You can go with cp pistons and eagle rods.

wow ive personally never heard of this happening.. crazy!

im a fan of crower rods (eagle second choice) and CP pistons.. thats the set up im gonna go with when i rebuild this winter...9.2:1 compression ratio.

CP pistons, JE pistons...either...i had JE's and were very happy with them..however i hear that CP is very good as well. By far Eagle rods...they are the best bang for your buck..and if you want to go crazy and spend a good amount of money then go with Pauter or Manley

I had just put the motor under alot of load, and it was running rough( i guess that the regulator had blown by then)

I turned off the ignition, and parked. I came back 20 minutes later, took a while to start, was flooded, started up, sputtered, and then stalled. Compression tests today came back 40 40 60 50
